The lecture explores how the modern academic field of comparative religion and certain interpretations by scholars can be weaponized to mislead believers and weaken foundational Islamic beliefs. The speaker discusses the vulnerabilities within both Sunni and Shia schools of thought, examining issues such as political failures, reliance on metaphysics versus ethics, and the reinterpretation of core concepts like Imam Mahdi and Ahl al-Bayt. Emphasizing the importance of maintaining a balanced approach grounded in both philosophy and tradition, the lecture warns against intellectual trends that dilute core religious truths. Finally, it highlights the need for critical analysis and broader education within religious institutions to protect the faith from ideological erosion.
Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim. If we're going to introduce something is happening now, it is going to destroy the religion in the future. We have to focus in many aspects. And one of these aspects is Imam Sahib al-Asr wa al-Zaman Imam al-Mahdi. In this lecture I'm going to talk to Muslim Muslims in general, Sunnis and Shia. Because now I do care about both. It is very important to understand what's going on, especially with the Islamic world and with the Western world.
What's going on is more than just a battle that's going to happen in the Middle East, and we're going to predict if ISIS is going that place or if al-Qaeda or different terrorist organization is going to that place. Because many people when they call always, and they are interested in Imam Sahib al-Asr wa al-Zaman Imam al-Mahdi, they always talk about this subject. And if it didn't happen, then religion is bad, and all this prediction is failing.
That's mainly what's going on. All our lectures before, I tried to make introduction about religion, introduce the religion in a way. It is depending on science, it is depending on metaphysics, it is depending on ethics. And under those three angles, we always see a better picture. But what's happening now, if we go more deeper and deeper and deeper of all the battle the West is introducing, and all the battle the West is guiding,
we see there's a new science is coming to the surface. And this science was introduced from the universities. The main subject is going to be, I call it the theology of misleading. In Arabic, I called it lahoot al-istihmar for the people who will understand it. Misleading in English mean taking someone and mislead them to a different way. But in Arabic, we have to say it in a different way. Which way? That I'm going to mislead you with the religion.
I'm going to mislead you by destroying your faith in that thing. Let's say your house is burning now, and then the time of prayer is like already now, we have to go to pray. Always the people who tell you to go like, especially Imams, religions, any faith, will tell you it's important now to go do your salah, and then after that, go turn off the fire inside your house. Why? Because Allah is in control of that. And that's very true.
But where we can apply this theory? Only if you are working on it all your life. For example, if I am a very faithful guy, I have very high belief in Allah, I've been practicing religion so long, then when I have a fire in my house, I would care more to do the salah before turning out the fire. Same thing like Imam al-Baqir, he was praying, and then one of his sons was playing next to a place where they used to get the water from.
It was a deep well. They used to get water from there, and every house before, they used to have a dig for a well, and then they would use to take the water from. And then the kid, his kid fell into that well, and then his mother starts screaming. Where are you, Imam? Your son is going to drown into this well. What are you doing now? Your heart of Ahl al-Bayt Rasulullah is very, she told him that. Your heart is very careless about your kid.
Are you praying now? This is what she told him, but he continued his praying, and then when he finished, he came to the well, he just put his hand in the well and immediately he grabbed his son for sure, in a miraculous way. And then here his wife couldn't say anything. Why? Because he is depending 100% on Allah Azza wa Jal. But if you are going to come to a normal person who is praying, or now the time for prayer, and then he didn't do that while his son is drowning, he's not going to be forgiving himself if something happened to his son because he does not have rida or does not have content in his heart.
So, always the measurement between things are different from one person to another person. I cannot judge you on that, you cannot judge me on that. You cannot judge me when you see, for example, my son drowning and then I'm praying, and I cannot judge you when the time of prayer is now happening and you are going to save your son. You see? The Western or the people who try to always mislead you in a very idiotic way, they always try to produce something new.
And this something new has made those people like ISIS or al-Qaeda or so because they're saying we are saving religion, but they're saving it from what and from who? You see? And all this is depending on something very important. Something is now if you go to universities, you will be able to study it. It is called comparative religion. This is a specialty you can make in philosophy, comparative religion. In Arabic we call it علم مقارنة الأديان.
What does this science mean? If someone, for example, is studying religion, general religion in a university, he's going to do his master or PhD. You go, you'll be able to finish your studies in comparative religion. And this comparative religion is very, very, very true, at the same time is very, very, very what will mislead you in a stupid way. I'll tell you how. It depends how you're going to use it. Same thing, for example, like when Einstein introduced the how to transfer energy to matter or matter to energy.
His main concern was to create a new type of manufactures that will give you free electricity or something like that. But scientists took it to a different perspective and they use it in war. Same way, this science is. This science is very important for religion. If someone is going to study it, he will gain a lot of knowledge from it, but he will be able to destroy many heads from it. And I'm not talking about normal people like me and you.
I'm talking about scholars in religion and I'll mention to them some names not to degrade them, but to give an example of how a person can be lost. In what way? Not in a losing way that he's going to destroy religion, but he will think he's doing something good, but in reality, he's destroying something very important. They'll reach a point that they're going to destroy religion completely and I'll give you an example about it.
Let me first, if the people who do not know what is comparative religion, I will say what is it. I will make this introduction as a definition. I got it from the internet. Okay. Comparative religion is the branch of the study of religion concerned with systematic comparison of the doctrines and practices of the world religions. Like all world religions, you can compare, for example, Islam to Christianity, so and so, to different types.
But later something was newly introduced and I'll mention it after that. In general, the comparative study of religion yields a deeper understanding of the fundamental philosophy focus and that philosophical concern of religion such as ethics, remember that, metaphysics and the nature of the form of salvation. Those three aspects are concentrated by comparative religion. What does that mean if we're going to transform this meaning?
What is the first one? Ethics, أخلاق. Now, for example, if you want to attack any religion, what you can attack it first by? أخلاق. Example, in Sunnis, if you want to immediately attack religion from the Sunni perspective, you're like, for example, I'm a Christian, I'm going to do a debate today, he's immediately going to point that Prophet Muhammad, Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam, he used to love women and he married Aisha and so and so.
This way, he will immediately destroy the religion. Why? He does not have to go by عقائد, he does not have to go by salah prayers, how what to do salah every single day, how to do صيام, how to do so and so. He's immediately going to go destroy you in the core by destroying who, the Prophet. You see, that's very smart. And you think it's very stupid because he doesn't know, but believe me, he knows. And this is from comparative religion.
It is a very important science at the same time can be used as a very strong weapon. Many people, many Muslims, especially the people who live in the West or in a different area, they don't really know, they don't have a strong background of really this is true or not, or immediately they fall under that. Immediately, they don't have any defense point they can make so they immediately can flip the page. Because you are comparing religion to ethics.
You see? So here they think it's failing, but in reality it's not, or in metaphysics. What does it mean? Now if you see Sunni scholars, I'm not saying here to discrete Sunnis again, I at the very beginning when I start this lecture, I said, I want to bring them both up because I care about bringing Sunnis up just to save religion. Because they're 90% of Muslims and I want them to be up from this point of view. And later we can talk about what we differ in differences.
But I want them to be up and to this especially this is a big war that is going now. The second one, Sunnis now, and other channels, like the Muslim channels, like only for this school of thought, the Sunni school of thought, they're not depending anymore on Hadith. In what way? For example, there are many, many masheikh I can list them and I have a proof from YouTube. He will tell you, for example, in the Syrian war now what happened, Rasulullah came to that person in his dream and he told him so and so, please tell the Syrian people that you're going to be winning the war against this president and I'm going to be with you.
This is what Rasulullah came to that scholar and he told him so and so in the dream. And all that the people, because he is misleading them in a stupid way and they believe the metaphysics, what's going to happen? They're going to be misled. By reality, you never heard a Shia scholar, he went into the podium, will say Imam Mahdi told me to do so and so. If he will say that immediately, people will spit on him. But hey, don't be so sure about that because the future is holding, if we continue to be misled this way, in the future we're going to be like this, us, Shia, too.
Because many people now, for example, one time a guy, he was doing Nadvia on a podium, and then he spoke about Sayyida Fatima al-Zahra and suddenly he stopped, he rose like he went up and he started crying and looking like this, Walaikum Assalam, Walaikum Assalam, and like he was talking to nobody, and after that he said, you know what happened now? Sayyida Zahra, she was passing by here and everyone was doing like this.
Because why? He might be right, but he cannot say these things. Why? Because now you are misleading the people in an idiotic way. And this is what we call it the theology of idiocy, we can say. We can create our new word. Okay? Why? This is because this is wrong. You cannot make religion only depend on these things. Because it didn't happen. It may might happen, I did I don't know, but you cannot mislead those people in this way.
Sayyida Zahra, she will go in every Majlis. And let's say Imam Sahih al-Asr, he was here, he honored us with here, and let's say I'm looking at him right now, I cannot mislead you by the by saying these things. Saying he was here and then everyone will start crying and then, you know why? Because this this world, this universe, the metaphysics universe is very hard to believe for other people. Why? Because we did not go into it so deeply.
If you are the in so deep in it and everyone so deep in it, and all the people hearing me in the camera so deep with it, and he really was there, he will show himself to all of you. He doesn't need me only. You see? This is the comparison. We'll continue. And I'm not talking about Sunnis, I'm coming to the Shia. I have I have many many things to the Shia. The only thing, now if you look at religion, there's a guy, his name Sheikh Adnan Ibrahim.
He's the Sunni scholar. He live in in in Europe. But all the other channels, he he is only on YouTube. He used to give lecture on TV, but later all the channels stop they stopped him, they want to attack him. Why? Because he is trying to save something called Sunnis. I I'll explain now. This Sheikh, what happened is he looked at the future. He said if Sunnis will stay like this, five, six more years, they're all they're going to be Shia.
Impossible, they're going to be Shia. Why? Because if you look at every aspect of Sunnis Muslims, they failed in everything. They failed in government. Look to Egypt, what happened to it. Look to Gaza, and then it is under Islamic Brotherhood and it's failing. Why? Because they want to go back to the Prophet's time. While you have to take the Prophet's time at a as an example of justice and bring the modern world. You see? So we have Sunnis that failed completely in government.
Now we look at the foreign politics. They are the worst people to understand foreign politics. And I have proof, look at Saudi Arabia. Establishing a state, look at Saudi Arabia and all the people, they said we are true true Sunnis Muslim. Even the political Islam, they made it look very stupid, very weak that every one of them is following someone else. And they they don't have a vision for the future, they don't have anything, nothing for the future.
Other look at the same time, I'm now doing comparing religion, but I'm I I told you after that I'm going to start attacking Shia too. So just be patient. So, what's happening now with this different example, look at With the best example is Iran. They've been under siege for 30 years. They the people uh like they they won't be able to buy airplanes, they won't be able to buy anything from outside. They're very poor inside.
But what's happened is they depend so much on on themselves that to the point able to do DNA cloning. And she is only number six country in the world that did the DNA cloning till this moment. We have 100 198 countries in United Nation and she's number six into this field. And then we have she sent uh a space shuttle to the space for 6 hours and then they send satellites and so and so and all this are they're very limited.
Because they don't they they don't want to give them any technology, but they depend on themselves to do that. And then in a foreign policy, they're very good. They they can catch many things even by if you read the report for CIA's or if you are you have a politics like journal or something, you always see how they play with them. They take they can take whatever they want by playing like foxes. They have this fox politics and they are succeeding in Middle East by giving the right money I mean the money and the weapon for the right people.
Those right people who you can depend on, who they have clear agenda of what? Of liberalism or of the right revolution to bring the right Islam. So you see it, it's succeeding time by time. And you see here the school of thought, it is even though when you compare it with other religion, they're still holding very strong. But what's happening now, something very, very dangerous. I'm I'm going to go back to Sheikh Adnan Ibrahim.
So for him to save Sunnis while all other Sunni scholar attacking him because he's taking the fame from them, he is the only person that is saving Sunni now and I'm responsible for what I'm saying. To do that, he destroyed half of Sunni mazhab. How? He said that Muawiyah, Yazid and Abu Sufyan, the the the father of Muawiyah, they're all Kuffar and Munafiqin, hypocrites. He said it that very clearly. He said I cannot be in a podium here saying that Muawiyah was good, saying Yazid was good, saying that Abu Sufyan was good.
And while they you while Shia and other people other like thinkers, they will say no, this is wrong. So this is what what will happen, I'll make fun of myself, like people will make fun of me. I cannot say I cannot be truthful with myself saying this is right. So we have to take those people as like like same same way Shia believe. So this is what he saved himself 30% of debate. Because why? Because we always debate Sunni with Sunni first and Sahaba, they're all 100% pure.
By doing that, basically what he did, he said Sahaba are not 100% pure. And what you did, you exclude 30% of the debate out. Now, if you sit down with Adnan Brahim, you cannot tell him about Sahaba because he's already established that there's no Sahaba are are are pure or are infallible. So, he saved himself 30%. And the second one, he talked about Ahl al-Bayt as a superior than a Sahaba, as a superior than Aisha, Hafsa, Abu Bakr, Omar.
And then there were Imams that you should follow, but those people are only Imam for religion and Abu Bakr and Omar are are their their the political leader. You see? So, what he did now, he tried to balance this one to save the Sunni school of thought. If he didn't do that, and now many many Sunnis, they're following him. Why? Because he is the only only place that they can feel safe with. Why? Because when they sit down with Shia debate, they will say I'm following Sheikh Adnan Ibrahim.
Now, you have 60% out of our debate with them is out. What's left is is it Imam Ali you should follow after Rasulullah or this is a politics? Now what we call what? The theology of misleading. Even though he is very honest man, I respect him so much, but he's still and he's talked about the theology of misleading. in a way of comparative religion. He didn't say theology of he's he's talked about comparative religion how it's destroying Islam.
In reality, comparative religion, it is destroying Sunnis more than Shia. And and I'll go back to Shia again. With Shia, what's happening now, many people they try to attack it from outside. And Alhamdulillah, we have very, very, very strong establishment. If you want to attack us by God, we don't have anything say that God or Allah, he look like a human being. While 90% of school Sunni school of thought saying God, he look like an old man sitting in a throne.
And when you come to him walking, he come to you running. And they have that he look he look they have a they have they have like a picture for him. So, for example, when you want to sit with Wahabi, the first thing you're going to tell him your God is so and so. He'll say, yeah, this is what he mentioned himself. So you are no more Muslim. I cannot debate you anymore. And the subject is ended. Right? With Shia, no, they're strongly saying that Allah does not have any look or any effect.
Now, different school of Sunnis, now some of them online or people who never studied their right religion, they depend only on their readings. They will say, no, Sunnis are like this, we never believed in that. But you have millions of books that saying what I'm saying now. If you want to study religion, don't give me what you believe in. Study what they told you, I mean what is in your books. Because if you tell me that Allah does not have a look, 100%, then you're taking it from Shia,
you're taking it from Imam Ali, you're not taking it from your books. You see? The second thing is Ahl al-Bayt. When when Ibrahim Alaihi Salam, Prophet Abraham, he Allah, he he tested him in many places. And one day we will reflect on what Allah he tested him. He succeed in any in in in any in many places, and Allah he granted him that all the prophets and all the Asiya and the people who is going to come after the prophet, they have to be from that Ibrahim lineage.
They cannot be from different place. If you look, if you look at the very beginning, Allah chose Adam and then after that his son, and then later someone from China and someone from Europe and someone is they they're not related to each other. But after Ibrahim Alaihi Salam, they were related by son and son and and his son and his son and his son and son till Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam. And then he stopped. No. This lineage continue till this moment, because this is the prophet of Allah this is the promise of Allah in the Quran for Prophet Abraham.
See? So this science of comparison, if you come now you have to compare with the Quran before you attack the Shia with. You always you if you bring that to Sunni, he cannot say anything about that. But what he will say, he will say like what Adnan Ibrahim said, Sheikh Adnan Ibrahim, he said, he chose him for Imama, he didn't chose him for Khilafa. You see? Theology of misleading. But in reality, Imama is Khilafa. Imama is Allah appointed you so you should follow that.
You have no democracy in what Allah showed you and he gave you the free well. People chose democracy, in Islam only 11 people chose democracy from 70,000 Sahaba, look what happened to us now. Okay, so we continue. And then if if you want to keep attack from this point, you you can never you can never be in any place with Shia. You can never be in any place. So what they attack us with? They attack us with Mut'ah. They'll say you, the first thing when every single day I delete like more than 30 comments or 20 comments in Arabic lecture or English lecture, they will keep saying I will do Mut'ah to your sister,
I will do Mut'ah to your wife, I will do Mut'ah to your mother, I will do Mut'ah to so and so. Make me do Mut'ah, I'll become Shia. Make me do it is very ridiculous. In a way that they didn't really study what is Mut'ah. And what's worse, they have like 30 type of marriages, 30 type of marriages. It is close to Mut'ah, but they don't want to say it's Mut'ah. You know, and it is very funny because for example, the real Zawaj, Zawaj when you go to the Sheikh, it has it has to have
For example, you have to give her مهر. You have to, you know, you know the regulars of marriage. Exactly same thing for except for and, it is it's okay to be secret. That's it. But you still responsible for everything in a way that you cannot marry someone if she was married three months before. You have to wait for her to finish and then you marry her. It is exactly like the right except for it has to it has to be secret.
And we can reflect in a future for in the future in this type of. But they always attack you from weak spots. Weak spots, and their their house is made from glass. You know, when someone attack you because you have a window and then their house is made, you can just take any stone and then throw it, you'll break everything. Okay, we continue. So what's happened now, they they failed to attack you from many places. The Quran is saying talking about Ahl al-Bayt.
The the Hadith is mainly about Ahl al-Bayt. And the main Hadith is "إني تارك فيكم الثقلين كتاب الله وعترتي أهل بيتي". And even Adnan Ibrahim, Sheikh Adnan Ibrahim said, this Hadith is the right one. Not I'm I'm leaving you with Quran and Sunnati. It he said it, I I have the proof from you to be said this Hadith is wrong. The right Hadith is I'm I'm I'm going to leave after me Al-Quran and Ahl al-Bayt. They are the only two you can follow.
And he said it that on in his one of his sermon, why? Because that Hadith was mentioned over 89 times in very right books of the Sunni, and the other Hadith is very weak, it does not have any truth that it is right. About what you always hear from the Sunni, the other weak Hadith. That it doesn't have any send, it doesn't have anything and it wasn't mentioned in one book only. You see, that's why he he went to save the Sunni school of thought.
If you want to save school Sunni school of thought, you have to take all the bad implementation that's in it. Why? Because you want to purify it so it he it might continue to be good for the 20 coming years. But it's not going to be even for 20 more years. He tries trying his best. So we continue. So what happened with the Shia now? We have we have the thinkers. In that Shia school of thought, the good thing about it, it is open.
In what way? You you we we have something called Ijtihad reversed than what Sunnis have. Sunnis, they cannot have Ijtihad. They don't have Ijtihad. And what what does it mean Ijtihad? It's like to make something new that fit this Asr. Fit this this this time. For example, all their life they have to follow the moon. Nobody can come say we have to follow satellites. Why? Because they don't have any Hadith from Rasulullah, because they don't have any other Imams after.
But with Ahl al-Bayt, there is many narration and and the Islam the science of Rasulullah, the knowledge of Rasulullah what inherited through all this time. They always, for example, if they want they want to establish Islamic state, they have to get rid of all the cars, no computers, no cell phones, they have to go back to riding camels and making beards and then wa- wearing the white covers and that's it. And they have to siwak in in their mouth.
In reality, siwak is replaced by what? Now by crest and and all this uh sci- technological things. When Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam he said, do siwak, this is mean like go, wash your teeth. In reall- in now in in a tech new technology you can use crest. You know, you can use different colgate. I don't want I'm not here for marketing some products, but you can use different technology. Why? Because now what you're eating is advanced.
It has advanced hormone, they advanced all the sugar in it. It is very complicated, complex sugar things in it. So the only thing to defeat that is by by adopting to something new. When Rasulullah he said, he does not want you to eat, for example, anything bad smell bad, and then go to the Masjid before. But now you can just open a little bit of Listerine and know who and then you can go to the Masjid. But with them, they always want to be old because they don't have Ijtihad.
But with a school of thought, we have high, high Ijtihad to the point that we're able to discuss about the DNA. We're able to discuss about uh the space if we can watch it by satellite or not. We're able to so and so. Even though we some of some of the maraja they they always want to go to be made, but it is changing. It is changing. It is there some maraja who said no, you can follow Salah. What's the what's the proof of that?
They give you a narration. But in religion, because we have books all the time and some people they wrote fake, stuff over the time, you know, we didn't have like a library of Ahl al-Bayt, because libraries of Ahl al-Bayt always used to be burned, and people used to save some in their houses secretly, doing Taqiyyah. So, many people they wrote many fake stuff in them. So, now, for example, if someone's going to sit down saying that, you're drinking tea is Haram.
He can bring your hadith that he is Haram. And then some other person he will say, no, there's a hadith that the tea is good for you, and he bring your hadith is good. So, this is here, what? If the comparative religion comes to that point, it's will start to destroy. You see? You they're depending on this kind of stuff to start destroying Shia. They're not depending anymore in the the the the the pyramid's head, they're depending in the foundation.
What's the foundation of the pyramid of Shia is Sayyida Fatima al-Zahra, Imam al-Mahdi, and Jesus when he come after Imam al-Mahdi, and the fake Jesus. This is the fundamental futuristic thing they're going to come and we're always depending on them to be. Okay, how what what what really I'm saying? Now, someone will say, Imam Mahdi, and now we start to hear this kind of voices inside the Shia school of thought and from leaders. Why? Because it's been the the comparative religion theology, they've been practiced this theology.
But what's happening? They didn't know it is they are doing it. We are so complex now in philosophy, we're so complex in religion, we're so complex in practicing the religion in Aqeedah and 'Ilm al-Rijal. 'Ilm al-Rijal, this is mean like a person said that and we have to follow who that person is. So, is it legitimate or not? We This is how they usually follow the hadith if it's right or wrong. It is so complex now to the point that religion Aqeedah and Shia are eating itself.
And this is where the danger is coming now. From that point, let me tell you how. The first person who was very very very knowledgeable, I'm not again I'm not attacking any person, I respect every single person I'm mentioning now and I respect them really very much. But what they've been doing comparative religion, I'm going to say what's the problem in that? Where was the problem? Just from my humble point of view, okay?
The first person, now because we lived with that, with that person, we read his books and so and so is Sayyid Muhammad Hussain Fadlallah. He approached the matter of Sayyida Fatima al-Zahra that Omar, he was standing outside and they told him, Zahra is inside, and he said so, and that's it. He does not continue to say that they hit the house inside or they killed her son or so and so. Why? Because Imam Ali, he will not accept to do that with his wife.
Let's say how did he approach it? He said, if you are a regular man inside your house and then your wife is inside and someone is going to attack her, immediately you will go and kill him. What kind of patient you're going to have if someone is attacking your wife? And then he approached it by what? By what we are living now. Okay. If you go back to the main, to the very beginning, what is the definition of comparative religion is metaphysics, ethics, and what?
And the third one is, sorry, and the form of salvation. Metaphysics, ethics, and the form of salvation. Sayyid Muhammad Hussein Fadlallah here in that point, he depended on two points only. He depended on a form of salvation and he depended on the other one, in the ethics. He did not depend in the metaphysics. You see? If you are depending in this triangle and only two sides, you're going to lose it. You're going to lose the other side and when you lose it, you will start doing what?
The ethics of misleading. And it's not in his intention to mislead people, but he misled himself. In what way? He said, the man it's impossible to do that. But in reality, if you study more the metaphysics in this point of Sayyida Fatima al-Zahra, who is Sayyida Fatima al-Zahra in the other world? You will find it impossible that that won't happen because Sayyida Fatima al-Zahra at that point is what? Defeating the religion, defeating the Wilayah with her body.
If you only said this to Sayyid Muhammad Hussein Fadlallah, if you're still alive, I think you will be convinced. Only with just saying that. So that now who is following Sayyid Muhammad Hussein Fadlallah, is Sayyid Kamal al-Haydari. That person reached this conclusion about Sayyida Zahra, but the surprising point here that Sayyid Kamal al-Haydari made more than seven, like 70 lectures about what? About Ibn Arabi. Who was Ibn Arabi?
He was the leader of what we call new Sufism. The leader of a person that tried to open all their fan word. This means what? He was very into mysticism. And if he was very into mysticism and giving this kind of lecture to people, then he is so strongly in metaphysics. Right? But what's happening here? He was so strongly in metaphysics. He was so strong in ethics, but he wasn't strong in a form of salvation. Why? Because if he was so strong in a form of salvation, he would know that Sayyida Zahra, she was saving the religion by she was the matter of the salvation of Imam Ali.
You see what I mean? You see how we compare it every single time? We flip it here, we flip it there. You see, even those big leaders, they were misleading themselves by rejecting a big form of comparative religion. And why is that? I'm again not attacking now the Hauza. Hauza, if you go to it, they will make you study only fiqh, will say al-Rijal. They will focus so much on that and then later they will tell you al-Khariji to do it.
But over there now, al-Khariji like outside studies. But this one what will be so complex that no one can debate with you, because now why you are a big head, who can debate you anymore? It will be so hard. So now, for example, if you wanna my recommendation for that, include all the sciences in Hauza. Include physics, include chemistry, include why? Because this will open different perspective. Will open the form of salvation, metaphysics already there, but you don't want to use it so much.
Why? Because I don't want to hear one day in a podium a Sheikh saying I saw Imam al-Mahdi and he told me that this masjid going to be good or whatever, or you give me money, I'll make good house for you. Because why? I heard some of these stories, but they were thieves, those people were thieves and people didn't believe them much. You see? I don't want to reach this point, but if we continue this way, we have many followers of Sayyid Fadlallah from this perspective.
I'm not talking about his fatawa, I'm talking about his thinking. You see, because now we build so much idols, we build many idols. Now, you follow Sayyid Ali al-Sistani, you follow Sayyid Ali al-Khamenei, you follow Sayyid Muhammad Hussein Fadlallah. Now we sit together and we start debating to go ahead to each other. If you do that, then you are worshiping those people. Rasulullah, Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam, he taught us that when I came with Imam Ali to destroy all the idols, we destroyed the stone idols.
Now if you want to bring like a small, beautiful art monument to your house, let's say, they will tell you, no, no, it's haram, you know, that's like you're worshiping, it's haram to keep it now. No angels will go anymore to your house. Rasulullah, he didn't mean it this way. He didn't want you to take those stone idols, art, now, there's no more worshiping an idol now. And now what, you're making your own human idol.
He does not want you to do that. He wants you to destroy all idols from your head. No one is idealist to claim right, no one, even myself. I can be debated. You can defeat me. Why? Because if you have knowledge about the subject that I'm talking about, you can defeat me, if you believe something wrong. Why? Because no one is so pure, 100% pure except Imams. So every single one is wrong till he proves his right with philosophy, only with philosophy.
So a couple days ago, why what brought this subject to life? Why I'm talking about it now? Because the main focus now, after destroying the Sunnis, now the Sunni mazhab is completely destroyed by the way. I told you Sheikh Adnan Ibrahim, he's the only one who's trying to save whatever he can. But now the main focus is attacking the Shia. Is all the TVs, especially like Al Jazeera, Al Arabiya, you know, whatever you want to call it.
Those ones are focusing in such people that they want you to stay no, it's not true about anything and everything. Now, many people Sunni, especially and some Shia, they start following, they call themselves al-Qurani, the Quranists. What does that mean? They don't believe in anything except the Quran. Let me tell you, Imam Ali, he was Khalifa of Rasulullah. He was said, give me a verse that say Imam Ali is from the Quran.
And then you tell them about Wilayah. No, he said no, it's not, it doesn't mean anything. I want his name to be mentioned in the Quran. And it was mentioned in the Quran, but the Tariq is different. I can prove that from you, but I cannot debate that so much now, because it will open different way to attack me from different ways. You see, you are destroying religion from the very core, from the very fundamental way.
Now, many Sunnis to convince them with the Mahdi because Shias are very strong into that. They're bringing ayat from the Quran, they're bringing ayat from different places, hadith. So it was shaken the foundation of Sunnis about Imam Mahdi that he really exists. So those people came with the theology of Imam Mahdi is an idealistic idea. What does it mean? Everyone dreams of the utopia. So, for us to dream about utopia, you have to create something called Mahdi.
So, Mahdi is not a person, it's an idea. And even Sheikh Adnan Ibrahim to avoid Imam Mahdi, he said it's an idea. You see? So, now you, one of the Arkan of Islam, Wilayah, they're trying to destroy it by what? Imam Mahdi is an idea, you know? A person is going to come, he's going to be so good, and then his idea to be Imam Mahdi. Now, you're done from all Yawm ad-Din, you're done, khalas. You ended it. And some Shia are following this idea now.
Now, you shut down with some Shia, they tell you, you know, who can live all these years? Why we never see Imam Mahdi? Why so and so? Because even some of them, they give lecture, I know in this community, they when they sit down ask him about Imam Mahdi, basically he'll say, he will be born maybe later. Maybe he's already born, but it's more like idea way of Imam Mahdi. They were so convinced with this theology. Why? Because they destroyed the fundamental theory of what is Imam Mahdi?
What the real Imam Mahdi is, the idea behind it. And if you go back, from the same way they destroyed that Prophet Isa alayhis-salam, he's going to return. Why? Because it is important for them, because what they're now doing with Christianity, we talked about this before. It's like your custom religion. Later, you will go one day to Christian.com and then you open the website, you say, customize my religion, fold. What do you want to believe on?
And then you will click, whatever I want to believe in gay, I want to believe in marrying animals. I want to believe that so and so and so and so and so. And then click at the end of combined religion together and then they will find you a church that will fit your belief. This is going to happen because it's happening. Now, if you tell them the Bible contradict itself, say it's okay. It doesn't matter. You are the God inside.
The God is inside you. It is you are the God. You know, this is how I tell you. Later, your dog is going to be the mini God and your animal in the house is going to be. Why? Because all of it doesn't have religion anymore. There's no more religion. Why? Because the Christianity are the people who played with comparative religion, they misled many people to the point that they lied, they lied, they lied at the end they believe all their lies.
This is the only way they can exist. Same thing, now it's going to what? to Shia, and I mean to Sunnis. Same way, it is going to destroy it. With Shia, the only way that it's going to destroy if we don't really analyze this subject, we don't really introduce it to our scholars. We don't really say that Sayyid Fadlallah is a legitimate person. He is a very respectable person. He introduced many new things to 'Ilm al-Ijtihad, to the science, to the knowledge of Ijtihad.
Sayyid Kamal Haydari, he is a good person. He's a person that he's trying his best to take Shia to a different way. But the problem is, you cannot go from that into destroying what is Sayyida Zahra alayha-salam. . If you don't believe in one aspect of the comparative religion. It only can work right by this triangle and there's a point in the middle. The more you push harder like the attraction between those two points, it will go.
The only safe way to keep it always in the middle, you have to believe in those three. You cannot tell me that I dreamed of Imam Mahdi. So this way you will hit metaphysics and you'll destroy the other two points. You always have to be in the middle. This is the only way to be safe. So we can save we can save the religion like we always did. We always did that. If you want to go back 20, 30 years back to the past, Muslims, they didn't pray, they didn't fast, they didn't do anything.
Even like brotherhood, the person who did the brotherhood, he had a daughter that she wasn't wearing hijab. The person, the Sheikh who constructed the brotherhood, he has a daughter that she wouldn't wear hijab. The only way Islam was restored is by Imam Khomeini. Even Imam Khomeini restored Islam for Shia and he restored Islam for Sunnis too. Why? Because it is from the pure form that existed from Ahl al-Bayt alayhissalam.
So in a next muhadarah inshallah, it is very important. Now it's like introduction of what I said about the theology of misleading or atheistic misleading. In the next one, I'm going to go a little deeper about how we can avoid that by comparing whatever is happening with the past. This is the only way we can be safe. This is the only way we can pass what's happening now. Because I told you before, we are going to go to many wars and one of these wars is brain wars, the brain wars.
Okay? وصلى الله على سيدنا محمد وعلى آله الطيبين الطاهرين. اللهم صل على محمد وال محمد. Yeah. Yeah, they have to take them away from this idea because they don't want the religion to continue anymore. Now they're forming a different type of religion. They want to take all the Abrahamic religions and to combine it with custom-made religion, to fit the needs, I don't know for who. What they did it for? Exactly. Yes. Yeah.
That's what I mentioned, yeah.
going deep into the theology of religions and how its being used . the advantages and the disadvantages of the comparison religion and how it being used to destroy all religions. lecture by Servant Mohamed Moussa email : redtorchma1@gmail.com
